Review by hotel critic
Review of Villa GarutiSituated majestically by the lake, Villa Garuti truly captures a unique charm. With easy transport links to Milan and Venice, this location is ideal for exploring. The stunning grounds and private beach were highlights, making the outdoor swimming pool a delightful retreat. The restaurant, while slightly upscale, delivers a culinary experience reflective of the exquisite surroundings. I found the accommodation's cleanliness lacking, which was unexpected given the overall ambiance of the hotel. The room, equipped with a kitchen and essential cookware, provides a balance of luxury and practicality for travelers like me. Services such as laundry and a welcome drink offered thoughtful perks, but they come at a cost. While Villa Garuti may lean towards the pricier side, the value in its location, amenities, and warmth of the staff makes it a worthwhile consideration for those seeking serenity by the lake, albeit with an eye on your budget.
